MEET JULIE

Julie Knudsen, LCSW, CCFRC, CCISM

Julie Knudsen founded Guardian Public Safety Solutions from a deep respect for the men and women who serve their communities and a belief that public safety organizations are strongest when the people behind the mission are well supported.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Julie has spent her career helping individuals and organizations navigate challenges, change, and growth. Her work with law enforcement and public safety agencies brought those experiences together and shaped what has become the focus of her work today.

Julie has extensive experience partnering directly with public safety leaders to develop, implement, and expand behavioral health, wellness, and organizational support programs. Her work has included co-responder programs, embedded clinician services, first responder training, behavioral health support for 911 professionals, and other initiatives developed around the specific needs of public safety organizations.

Through this work, Julie developed a practical understanding of both the demands placed on first responders and the challenges leaders face when trying to build programs, evaluate resources, navigate competing options, and turn good ideas into sustainable solutions.

That experience became the foundation for Guardian Public Safety Solutions.

Today, Julie partners with public safety leaders to assess organizational needs, strengthen existing programs and resources, develop new initiatives, and help move priorities from planning to implementation. Her approach combines clinical expertise, organizational and program-development experience, and an understanding of public safety culture—with an emphasis on solutions that are practical, collaborative, and built to work in the real world.
